Online Auction Services Offered:
1.Timed Online Auction
A timed online only auction is automated and takes place solely online. The bidding for each lot is opened at a predetermined level set by the auctioneer, usually at a set time and stays open over an extended period of hours or days.
During this period of open bidding one will be able to see the current high bid on each lot. You may place a higher bid at a defined bidding increment you choose. In timed only online auctions bidders are automatically informed by email if they are the high bidder, or if they have been outbid by another competing bidder.
At the end of the defined bidding period, if the highest bid offered meets the minimum price designated by the seller as acceptable, the lot is sold.
Bidding on all lots in a timed online only sales begin to close at a specified time, with lots closing at regular intervals until the auction has ended.
Some timed auctions allow extended bidding. In such a case, if a bid is placed on a lot within a specified time before closing, the bidding may automatically be extended for a set period of time. Length of extended bidding is set by the Auctioneer prior to the opening of the auction.
2.Live Webcast Auction
Live online auction technology enables your buyers to share the experience of a live auction in HD from anywhere in the world. A live auction webcast is an online broadcast of a live auction.
If you cannot come to the live auction, you may still bid in “live time” from your desk or other computer device. Simply go to the auction site, read the terms and conditions, and then register to bid.
Once the auction begins you will see the item being offered, the quantity available, and who has the high bid. If it is an online bidder, you will see the bidder paddle number. If it is someone at the live auction, you will see “floor bidder”.
You will be given the next increment available and be asked if you wish to bid that amount. All you must do is click to bid. If your bid is accepted, then you will be alerted that you are “winning” the bid. If someone at the auction bids at the same time as you, the auctioneer may choose to take their bid, and you will be alerted that the “floor bidder is in” and you need to bid again.
As the auctioneer reaches the end of the bidding on the item, you will receive a “fair warning” alert that you must act quickly. If no one bids within a few seconds, then the auctioneer will announce the item as sold, and the next item will appear on your screen.
